Two new papers started using The Wall Street Journal's content in their Sunday editions. The Hartford (Conn.) Courant and The Tampa Tribune joined 60 other newspapers that are in the Journal's network.
"The Wall Street Journal Sunday extends the reach of the Journal brand to 7.6 million paid readers with late-breaking personal finance news and forward-looking analysis easily accessible in their local Sunday newspapers," Paul Bell, vice president and partner of businesses for Dow Jones & Co., said in a statement. "The Sunday Journal pages also provide an efficient Sunday platform for national advertisers seeking to reach an engaged, educated, and affluent audience in key markets across the U.S."
The Courant incorporated the Journal's content in its new redesign, which debuted on Sept. 28. The Tampa Tribune started running the content on Oct. 5 as part of a redesign initiative.
